A few years ago I made this illustration above. It started as being ‘just’ a doodle, but with a bit more dedication it transformed into this bug-ish kind of creature. You tell me, is it a mosquito? A fly? Or an elephant after all?
Last week I got these pictures below back on the table; a huge dragonfly that came up to me on a warm summer day in 2005. I can’t remember what thought made me link the pictures to the illustration, but I think it isn’t a bad comparison after all, right?
